my 13 yr old daughter,shes gonna start out on my old stevens 410 youth model.she dang sure isnt afraid of it so i guess i lost my handy gun.she is really excited and listens real well.we are lucky to have good bird hunting that isnt one of them private paid hunting ranches.never could figure out why pay to hunt birds.

In Pa your options are to hunt next to 100 other hunters for Pa Game Commission stocked pheasants, pay to hunt on a game farm or raise the birds yourself and stock them on land with a permit to hunt these birds. You are very lucky to have a wild population, here in Pa we do not so that is why alot of us pay to hunt.

or because there is so little public lands to have a natural population. The only option is to travel a day's worth to hunt and that costs $$ with overnight motel stays, gas, etc.
