I am new to huntingnet. Been on "trad archery" message boards for a long time, but just found this site.

I live in Kansas. Usually bird hunt in Northeast to North Central Kansas. Hoping the populations will start bouncing back (pheasant and Quail)! I first started hunting this area with my father-in-law in the early to mid 1990's and it was awesome. We would limit on pheasant and Quail by mid morning. Last several years you could walk all day and get a couple pheasant and not even see a Quail.

Also, I like to wood carve/burn and thought ya'll might appreciate the piece I am working on now. Almost done!
