on another post I asked about hunting recommendations outside san fran area-- willing to drive a couple of hours-- I will be out there for a couple o meetings in fall/early winter. Anyone do any quail hunting, or other? I've heard people tend to hunt on preserves or ranches more. Any suggestions, direction would be appreciated. Not a big pheasant hunter, do like various species of quail, partridge, etc. thx.
