I live in central California and grew up with what I thought was good pheasant hunting, then I went to SD and relized that it sucks to hunt pheasant in California. SD is GREAT, when we drove into town there was a sign that said WELCOME HUNTERS. I almost crapped, we will never see anything like that here. God bless SD

You all must be confused, there are no pheasants in SD!

well, i HAVE hunted wild birds in SW Minnesota - but then, thats almost SD. ANd we head up to ABerdeen when we want guaranteed action.
