Default Pheasant Hunts

I posted a question in the hunts forum, but what states east of Kansas have and offer wild pheasant hunts? Yes I am willing to pay to hunt on someones property.

I know MN and IA have wild birds...

But heck, why not go a little further and hunt KS or SD - arguably the States with the largest wild bird populations... Just my thoughts!

I was planning Kansas or even SD but time and money for airfare was the issue. Kansas is still a slight possibility if I get my plane back up.

Iowa has had a hard winter so some of us are worried about the toll on wildlife. So far, I am sure the yotes had a good year.
