Who's Interested?
First of all - Moderators, please don't move this thread. I want to get this out to the widest possible audience.
Everyone else - I'm thinking of putting together a cookbook on CD with recipes submitted by hunters and fishers. My questionsare -
Who would pay $9.99 plus shipping for a CD full of recipes from other sports persons?
Who would be willing to share their favorite recipes for this CD?
I would be willing to do this project and take care of organizing and producing the CD as I will soon be retired. I figure any proceeds from this CD should go to a charity. Then the only thing to resolve is what charity to give it to.
Costs:
CD - $.50
Cover - $.30
Ink - $.50
Padded Envelope - $1.00
Postage - $2.00
TOTAL - $4.30 (approximately)
That would leave $5.69 per CD left over to go to charity.

Everyone e-mail your favorite recipes to:
[email protected]
If you have taken this recipe from a cookbook, please reference the book.
I will collect, compile, and get them published once we have a good number of recipes running the gambit of categories.
The categories I can think of off the top of my headare:
WILD BEAST (All the meats one hunts for)
DOMESTICATED (Beef, Pork, Poutry, etc)
FISH/SEAFOOD
HOME COOKING (favorite home cooked dishes)
VEGETABLES
DESSERTS
SOUPS/STEWS

RE: Who's Interested?
I suggest that we just leave this as anything wild. There are already hundreds of regular domestic cookbooks out there, but quite a few fewer of game cookbooks. Just a thought....
I am interested, but it will be another month until I can get the recipes that I have out. They are all at home on my other computer and I will not be stateside for another 8 weeks or so. ( maybe, hopefully less )

Hey shooter.. I dont have any reciepies to give you , but when you put it together , let me know , Ide buy one.....
Also, you may want to make this idiot understandable being that a large part of your audience and customer may be idiots like myself when it comes to cooking and especially cleaning and cooking wild food.
If i knew how to cook and clean a animal , then why would I buy this .. .Chances are ,I dont know how to so I am going to buy it ....
anywayz good luck
