this year in pa. you can hunt turkeys with dog.
i already hear hunters saying they will shoot a dog chasing turkeys if they ruin their hunt.

boy, those people on that site are NUTS.

there is case in pittsburgh,pa. right now on landowner that shot 3 beagles because he said they were chasing deer.
owner was 50 yards away when it happened and said they were hunting rabbits..
well, i had beagles and some would get on trail of deer.
i dont know what i would do if someone shot my dog chasing deer or not.

My wife is an RN and also runs a Golden Retriever as a Search and Rescue dog. The threat of ignorant hunters is always present, especially when looking for one who's lost during the season. I finally found the website Ive been after sorry it took so long.

http://www.ccdogduds.com/id23.htm

They make CUSTOM K9 vests multiple agencies (PD, FD etc)and Search and Rescue teams. My wife has a nylon mesh one for her Golden Retriever. It breathes very well and won't overheat your dogs like the more "traditional" hunting vests will. Im sure if you asked they would make you one for your dog with the breathable nylon mesh. They stand out in the field and woods. The buckles are solid and very well constructed. If I was running an upland bird dog Id get myself one too.
