Yes, it was on versus this week, one of the guys was the owner of Mathews bows, they used flu flu arrows and dogs, they done quite well too, they were shooting bows with very little let off, and shooting instinctive.

I Would Admire anyone that can hit a bird with an arrow.
I would love just to see someone try and film it.
However; some consideration as to the saftey of the dogs and losing arrows that a dog, person, or equipment will find latter.

Not to mention any of these getting hit by the arrow coming down thru some brush or whatever!

Just make sure and only shoot the bird if he is on the ground!

The American Archer show had a bit of a tradition going where they made an annual trip to a mid-western farm, and did a pheasant hunt. I watched two seasons worth and they never did bag a bird. Seemed to have alot of fun though.

we had the double bull guys out for the pheasant opener. it's tough to do, but they had a blast. got a few

best chance is to go someplace w/ a lot of birds, early in the season.

or, shoot chickens.

Seems like it would be really difficult and if you missed then you would have to take the long walk to get your arrows. would be fun though

Ive never shot at a bird with my bow, mostly just because there arnt a lot of game birds around my area. So im not sure what kind of setup you would use, but wouldnt you want to shoot them with a flu-flu? That way if you missed your arrows wouldnt go too far. AmI correct?
