today while on my way back to my truck i found a tree with turkey poo all over underneath it (at least i think it was, i'm a new turkey hunter) so i'm figuring its a pretty oftenly used roosting tree. So i set my blind up about 100 yards away, found a place to put my decoy in the morning, and cleared my shooting lanes. Now, what i need is directions on what to do in the morning. please be very detailed in your directions, as i said i'm a new turkey hunter.

hmmim guessing you never hunted the area......so you have to find out if they actually roost there or not....so id sneak in to hearing distance....100+yds...and try to hear them gobbling on the roost...if you hear them and they are there...head for your blind....set up...call em in...or just sneak in early.....(hour before legal sunrise or so) get in your blind and wait.....if and when you hear them try to call them in......good luck.....the birds may roost there or maybe they just poop there....who knows....but id bet youll beable to hear them in the morning off the roost from your spot even if they dont roost right there.....good luck
