Default Breeding season?

Hey, i was just out this weekend, Did a little calling, had about 4 diff gobblers gobblin, diff places withing a 60-80 acre woods, my season isn't for 2 weeks, I live in Central WISCONSIN, I have the dates april 27-May 1st, just wondering if the gobblers will still be thundering around then ?

The toms will definately be gobblin. They will still be breeding but not as much as in the earlier seasons. In the later seasons I have noticed toms group together a little more and gobble calls and jake decoys have worked pretty well for me in the late seasons here in southern iowa.

do u use the breeding pair, with a jake and a hen? if so, how's it work, and what kind of calls to use with that setup
