the call you can handle with the most confidence will work great on them.I like a little cedar box I have, also a prefection (blue) diaphram.
they like them all.

good luck on you hunt!!!!!

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

Lemond33,turks speak the same language east to west my friend. Some may be a little more vocal than others but the language pretty much stays the same.As far as the best call its a matter of personal preference.Tree Climber gives great advice a call you have confidence in is the best!Unfortunately this comes with alot of practice and experience in building ones confidence in his own preference of calls.Hands down the friction calls of today are some of the easiest to operate with the ability to produce quality sound.A box,push-pin or plunger type call are some of the easiest to use that get positive results.I see your a bowhunter and the only downfall to these type calls is you need your hands or hand to operate them whereas a diaphragm leaves your hands free.Whatever you choose practice. You dont need to be an expert caller to get turkeys in range the real key is being in the right place, and understanding what call to give him in that particular circumstance.Good luck.Bob

I agree whatever you have the most confidence in. The rythmn and timing is as important as the sound.
