Default winchester 28 in barrel. PROBLEM

Ok i have a problem here. The gun dosent seem to want to hit the target. well it hits the target but it only gets one or two pellets in the head most of them are in the chest. I use a superfull and i think since it take it to a 30 inch barrel should i just use a full ? cuz it seems to bounce the pellets around and i think that if i use a full then it will rise i use the whole bead since when i used the top of it and just half of it it hit the bottom of it still... if anything that might help me please post !!

If you don't have a good pattern and it is hitting low get yourself a set of Tru-Glo open sights. Stay away form the magnetic ones get the ones that clamp on tightly with a plastic shim.
Also make sure you can set the back ramp for windage and elevation.

Start at 15 yards trying to blow out a quarter size dot. Adjust the windage and elevation until you do. I start with trap loads so ti don't bust up my shoulder.
You might even want to bench at this point - I do. Once I have the quarter size dot blown out I switch to my turkey load.

Also different turkey loads and different pellet size - i.e. 4, 5 or 6 shot act differently.

I use Winchester Supreme 4s.

Also you extra full chokes all do something different too. But the key to what you have will be going to a set of good open sights.

Now it will do one of two things. Bring your pattern in where you are aiming and forces you to keep your head down!

Hope this helps.

If its shooting a good tight pattern you can fix your problem with a pair of adjustable sights.

I use a Hastings choke - thanks for reminding me I forgot to mention that!

I have tried a few others....and back to the Hastings I go. I have tried Heavy-Shot and back to the Winchester Supremes I go.....So I got this gun patterned correct - Why change!

Oh and I have left my 3.5 inch and have gone to my 3 inch......

Call Em up close......Take their head off!

Yeah I'd get some adjustable sights and just bring the pattern up so that you are hitting the concetration in the head.
