Thanks everyone for the complements on the birds. Yea there are a lot of big toms out here and none of them have been hunted far as I can tell. It is private land and up until a few years ago I had never saw a turkey this far North in MN. I have been watching those toms for over a month now and this is my first year hunting turkeys. I have seen up to 8 Toms feeding in the alfalfa field at one time and the smallest had about a 6 or 7 inch beard. I hope they stick around for another 14 days til season opens for me. Thanks again for the complements.
