Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

It's not real turkey hunting anymore,It's a turkey shoot!
I guess the young generation just can't call them in to 20-
25yds and really feel the thrill of the hunt and feel good
about it.To brag with your friends how close you called
the bird in to take it.
I give merit to the turkey archers, they have to call them
as close as possible to take thier shot.
I'm not blameing the young generation or I'll be blameing
my own Son, he keeps up with his friends also.I guess that's
progress. He call's me Old Fashion!Oh well.
Aslong as you be safe out there, is what counts, no turkey
is worth a mortal injury, especially with all the 3",3 1/2" and
nitro hevi-shot at 40-50yds.Gosh,I'm shooting hogs and deer
at those ranges!
Don't get bent out of shape with me Guy's,I'm just thinking
of the old days.Enjoy yourself out there.

Nothing wrong with your way of hunting. I can respect that!!! But for me it dosent work. I hunt pressured gobblers and they don't play by the rules set forth in the hunting magazines

If I waited for all my gobblers to come into 20 yards or less I would prob wouldn't need to take a gun in the woods with me

The main reason I'm in the turkey woods is to kill a gobbler period!!!! If the outdoor experience was all I really wanted then I could save a !@#$ load of money on gas, calls, food and missed days of work
