Default Locator Calls

I have a Primos Power Crow call.

And a Primos Hoot Flute.

Is there a certan language that you use to get a gobbler gobbling ?

Or is the suddin sound of the call what makes them gobble ?

Except for the Night and Hale Sla-tek and my home made box call and a Lynch box call
every thing else is primos lol I gues Im stuck on Primos.

Thank You

they are both a shock responce. they gobble if you are close enough.I use the owl till it is full lite.then the crow call.they will respond to it , then you can use the box or slate calls.

good luck.

You don't really need to learn a language...Just blow it...it's the shock sound that'll make em gobble....I mainly use the Primos Peacock screamer here....they really don't respond here to an owl call for some reason, and once in awhile I'll use the crow call, and they'll respond to it sometime's....but there's so many crow's around, I think they get used to the sound.

about any sound will make them gobble. just make a short call so you are able to hear them gobble. if you call for more than a second or so you will miss their gobble because of the call. i mainly use a crow call, or a gobble shaker on private land after light if they dont respond to the crow call.

Honker flute, coyote howler at daybreak or before, and crow, peacock screamer after daybreak!Jrbsr,a couple things I always make a point of in using my locators is #1 dont fool around in trying to call in a conservative manner! In otherwords if I'm going to use a honker flute or one of the other calls I make a point of calling loud and aggressive!#2 dont overcall with them!A couple of good loud series and if nothing responds I move on!!

I was talking to a freind that went on a guided turkey hunt last spring .
He said the guide used a silent dog Whistles .
He said it worked great and they could hear any gobbers

I have one and am going to try it this spring.
