Just checking in, I've been added to the team and thought I'd introduce myself. I live in VA and have 30 acres and another farm with 50+ acres and access to family farm of over 200 acres. We have seen as many as 27 turkeys at one time and killing toms with beards around 9-10" and 3/4" spurs is not uncommon. We've killed doubles twice. They tend to be around 18 pounds. Regulations are pretty generous with morning hunts the first half of the season and all day hunts the last half. 3 bird limit.

Having said that, I must admit that I'm pretty much a scrub turkey hunter. Mostly a deer hunter, but I enjoy turkey hunting. I hope I can add to our score.
