Hey all! My name is Don, and obviously I am hunting in Missouri. Central MO has some pretty big Eastern's to it's credit, and I got a big one last year. Our 3 week season opens April 18, and we are allowed two bearded birds.
Been hunting the same ground for 15 years, with some pretty good success. I have a good feel for the habits of the birds in my area, and if I can duplicate my 24 pound double beard, 1 5/8" spur beauty from last year, well, it will be a miracle, but I am gonna give er all I got.
Glad to be aboard, and looking forward to having some fun and getting to know everybody. Oh, by the way, I love the team name, and thanks for the tag!!!!
Do we have a team captain?

So does everyone have a bird or two already picked out for opening morning? I went out today and found a couple birds that look to be bigger than the one I got last year. (-inch beards or better. The unfortunate thing about hunting in the area I do is that the mountain is covered in Mica, or a really hard rock. Toms tend to break their spurs down walking around so 1/4" spurs are the norm around here.

] nobody caught my mis-spelling on first photo for a tag? Had it in my files right but not over the photo[&:] Had to have anyone member in northeast bust me
