I like rosewood or chestnut for midrange calls .
Carbon and acrylics always cause me to squeal or scratch at random . Nearly all of my strikers are H.S.Strut models .

Try my friend Andy Kaiser at Kaiser Kalls He makes a variety of quality strikers using purpleheart, zebrawood, and many others. I have a glass call he made for me that sounds sweet!

I like the Mystic Stick by WoodsWise. That striker seems like it sticks to the surface of any call and plays wet to. Others I like are Primos purpleheart (great with the power crystal), H.S. Strut carbon and magic wand?
