End of lesson.
I teach in a rural area. About five or six kids in my class are hunters. Ten minutes before the end of class I hear a kid say the word turkeys!. Sure enough. About fifty yards outside the window were nine turkeys. That was all she wrote for trying to get anything done. We watched the turkeys. End of lesson!

RE: End of lesson.
Sounds like a great break from the books to me. If everything works out for me at work I hope / plan on turkey hunting this spring in a little town called Boonvile, Ind. Just a little east of Evansvile, Ind.
I've been told that they have the largest number of members in the NWTF. It's a shame that you all can only get one turkey, but I've read that they'll start a fall season this year.

Its kinda cool that some of your students are hunters.
At least they are interested in something other than drugs and alcohol.
Tell them I said good for them.
And I hope they do good hunting.
