Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Turkey Hunting 2005 DVD Project

Attention Turkey Hunters,

I am starting a budding Video Production Company. I have been currently producing DVD video productions for many types of clients. Some of the work consists of entire wedding albums to DVD with titles, music, etc. I have also done birthdays, various events, and one hunting production.

I have shot, produced, and edited a really nice duck hunting video that my family and I were fortunate enough to attend in 2000 and also was my first production. The duck hunt took place in Brinkley, AR in pit blinds, definitely a different hunting situation than what we are use to here in South Louisiana. To say the least, the DVD came out great and was a big hit. I would like to further enhance my experience with carrying over to the one thing I enjoy the most....Turkey Hunting! I would like to offer my services to anyone who wishes to acquire their hunting memories on film. I am a learning videographer and do not plan to charge for the service or for the final DVD production.

The process would work something like this: if we can get enough people to participate and invite me to film their hunts, by the end of the season we will have a fine collection of hunts from all over the state. Each participant in the project would receive one copy of the DVD or VHS tape. Naturally, if this project “catches” on and I am flooded with invitations, I will have to manage the hunts. A “fist come, first serve” policy will be in affect. This project will be limited to the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

I think this is a great idea and would be a great opportunity to meet new sportsman, as well as, providing myself with some great outdoor videography experience. My experience to date is in Non-Linear Editing w/ DV video, Image manipulation/restoration, and Videoography. I have almost 6 years experience behind me, all of which is self taught. I use Adobe Platforms consisting of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, & After Effects. DVD Authoring experience using Cross-Platforms of Adobe Encore & Sonic DVDit/MyDVD Professional Version software packages. Anyone wishing to receive a sample DVD may contact me via e-mail and I will do my best to see you get a copy.

If interested please e-mail me with contact info and I will reply ASAP.

Thanks guys and lets keep it safe!

I am also a learning videographer, and I want to start a hunting video production company. Can you teach me in making bowhunting videos? I'm going bowhunting for Turkey in April and I'm really thinking of making a video out of it, I have some of the basic (not expensive) equipment, plus, I work at a TV station where I can probably take some of my raw video to work on. At the station my main jobs are operating camera and doing graphics. I want to develop my skills into a job, but I need some help.
Please tell me-
Is there a good market for hunting videos? Does it make into a good job? Is there a high risk of faliure?

Thanks
