Ryan nice to see your still around!Looks like about 208 days till our 2003 spring season opens up here in N. Calif!!Had great dove opener and waterfowl opens next month!Thank goodness we have something else to concentrate our efforts on or I'd go crazy waiting for spring to get here!!Fall season opens in Nov and with the splitting of our duck season this year it'll give me more time to put a wild turkey on the Thanksgiving table too!!!

Not gonna count because it'll just depress me, but I know it's TOO MANY!
Thought the upcoming bow season would distract me, then I see turkeys three different places last week while driving around trying to get hunting permission. One group of five longbeards sweeping a hay field for food during a light rain. Reminded me I'd like to finally get some rain gear before next spring.

179 days, 11 hours, and 38 some-odd minutes, till I start in Florida. Not that I'm counting or anything.

196 days here in Ga. We don't have a fall season here because it might interfere with deer season. Trapped me a new redtailed hawk Tuesday so I'll have something to keep me busy till spring.

I too am constantly thinking of next spring even though I have fall turkey season nov 2nd and the 1st day of archery Sept 28 here in PA. I am going out of state for the 1st time for a different subspecies. I am going for merriams in Nebraska the last week in April so I think about the spring season everyday!

I was goose hunting today and had a great hunt. Still all I could think about was gobbling turkeys.
