RE: 870 express
Hey 270,
I have the 870 Express Supper Mag. I killed three for three last year in GA and totaled over 32 inches of beards. Shortest shot 31 paces longest 47 paces. It was a great season.
I use the Remington Extra Full Choke Tube. (Some reports say not to shoot heavy shot from and extra full c.tube, but it works for me.)
Remington Heavy Shot #4 3inch. ( I would not shoot anything else. I am hooked on the stuff.)
My father and I took some real time before last season to see what my gun shot the best. I found it did not like the 3.5 inch shells at all. Get some turkey head targets, walk of 30 yards, 40 yards, and 50 yards. Sit down just like you would in the woods against a tree and let teh lead fly. Try a few different types of ammo and see witch one your gun shoots the best. BEST OF LUCK IN '05.
