rem 870 express

Nope never had any problems with it. But if you shoot it in the marsh while duck hunting you can watch it rust right before your very eyes. So you must clean it often and keep the barrel and receiver area oiled.

The 870 Express? I love my lefty 870 Express! [8D] It does anything, shoots anything, goes anywhere.... It's the best bang for the buck out of any other shotgun. I think it's been said somewhere (indirect quote): Throughout the years, at one point or another, everyone has owned or borrowed an 870!

P.S. as far as the rusting issue, just keep some of those dessicant(?) little packs {that stuff that looks like a small pack of sugar} in the gun case, and every so often, wipe it down with a silicone cloth. I *still* don't have one speck of rust on my 870 Express!

I got one for a high school graduation present back in 1988 and have hunted everything with it. Even though I hunt with one of those hi-speed, shell wasting, bad habit forming semi-auto shotguns now, I still carry my 870 with me as back up on all my bird hunts. It's an awesome gun!
