Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

You guys see this stuff yet?

I have been reading about that new Winchester load as well, and hope that someone tries this load out this comming spring and gives a report on it. Presently, I'm shooting Nitro Hevishot loads and don't plan on switching anytime soon.

I will be trying them just as soon as the get to the store shelf.
I now use Winchester 3" #6 shot and have for several years with great results.

Got to pattern some a week ago-yeh I know I am a lucky guy since my brother-in-law works for Remington. I like them but don't know that they are any better than the Hevi-load stuff

Wonder why they don't make a 2 1/4oz load for the 3 1/2". I know Remington don't make one either for their heavy-shot, seems like they would do better, since the shot weighs 10% more that means that we have 10% fewer shot in a 2 oz load to begin with. I will probably stay with the Nitro Hevi-Shot, they are awesome.

I'm guessing this is Hevi-Shot by another name. I patterned Remington® Hevi-Shot #6 in my Mossberg 500C 20GA last weekend. Using a Hastings® Super Full Extended Choke Tube (.570") I got EXTREMELY DENSE PATTERNS @ 35yds. That is quite good for a 20GA! I'm searching for some of these Winchester® loads to pattern as well.

Let me know when you get the Winchester's patterned in the 20 guage. I am thinking of going that direction as well.

Unfortunately they aren't being offered in the 20GA. [:@]Guess I'll stick with the Remington® Hevi-Shot® for now. Going to try #4 & 5's next.
