I started hunting in Minnesota around 1988 and it took me a few years to take my first bird (Jake). Since then I've hunted Wisconsin and Minnesota and have taken 14 gobblers. Up here they allow us one bird per season and over the years I've made my share of mistakes as well as successes. Just finished Muzzleloader deer hunting and now my focus has switched to applying for western hunts and waiting for spring. Can't wait to get out there in the spring woods and hear that first gobbler.

0 for meHunted once or twice each season for 4 years. I hunted real hard last year and got a few to answer, that was real exciting but never saw them. I guess I need a little more work on set ups. Hopfully this year will be different!!!!
I am hoping to get some help from members on this site, I can only learn so much from TV shows.
