Which calls are most effective

RE: Which calls are most effective
Well, by the way you have worded your question, I would have to say the mouth calls are by far the most effective, mainly for the reason that both your hands are free to hold your gun!! As with any type of friction call, you must work this type of call with both hands, hence hindering yourself at times if the bird comes in too quickly. With the mouth call in place, you can call with your face right snug up against the stock of your gun, making this type of call the most deadliest of them all. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

RE: Which calls are most effective
I hunt in a high presure area for turkeys. I carry as many different calls as I can like box, slate, tube, yelpers, wingbone and diaphame calls. There is really no one more effective call than the other. They all are spical in there own way, all have limitions. The beat way to find out what call you should is go listen to the hens voice in the area and find a call that is close to her sound in pitch and tone.
