Well it took me 2 years to do it but I finally did it. I got a Turkey with my bow this evening........ its a jake ........ he will be served at Thanksgiving at my home this year... No butterball on my table this year
I had an almost perfect heart shot... My broadhead cut the arteries leading to and from the birds heart.... missed the heart by just a fraction of an inch. ... and was a complete pass through. With Muzzy fourblade 100 grain Broadheads and Goldtip 3555's, Parker Phoenix Bow 57lbs, GKF Infinity Dropaway rest, Toxonics Sight and Winn Free Flight Glove Release
I am so excited I just had to share it with you all........ if it wasnt for all the great tips and advise from the good folks on this site on the turkey forum I never could of done it..... you all have taught me so much.!!!!!
.........
SO... TO ALL OF YOU THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND GREAT ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ill post a photo when I get them developed.

Well done! I can remember my first Fall bird with the bow and it was an awesome feeling so I know what you're going through
I think I spend more time chasing Fall gobblers now than I do deer. Again, my hats off to ya
