Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Pallof,
CT has alot of birds, but the private lands are much better. Price is ~ 75 after license and permits. Private land permit gets you 2 tags, state land 1 tag. There is more than enough state land but no Sunday hunting, so your best bet would be to hunt during the week (Saturdays will be crowded). It's a short season though (3 weeks), this year I believe will run from 05/01 to 05/21. Haven't picked up my books and license this year, so the prices might have gone up.

Personally though, if I were you I would hunt farther South or up in NY, where you can get 2 birds for the same price (as CT) and find much more land.

Hi, one place that I hunt ALL the time and see a turkey ALL the time is in/or around King and Queen county, VA. There are tons of turkey there. I have seen some NICE old Gobblers. Tell me if you have any interest, I might be able to find you some land to hunt on. Maybe me and my dad's land. (15 acres). Let me know,

i live in PA. I want to hunt out of state near to PA this year. any suggestions on reasonably priced license fees with good to excellent spring turkey hunting? I've only hunted turkeys in PA, NY and SC. would like opinions on hunting other Northeast states such as WV,MD,NY,VA, etc. thanks in advance.

Hi,

Spring Gobbler starts on April 13-May 18. A 1/2 hour before sunrise until 12 noon. One per day, three per licence year. You can't hunt on sundays. Sorry.
