Slate call or aluminum friction. One or the other gets them gobbling every time. I use a box call as a locator.

I wish however I could mouth call. My summer project to learn how. The hands free aspect would be huge when I'm hunting alone.

its a 3 way tie with all of them but the push button but if i had to pick just 1 id say diaphram im very good with them and its what i first started useing

That's a hard one,because I've had good luck with all three, pot, paddle box, and mouth calls. But I'd have to say my Primos power crystal pot call, you can do almost everything with that and the birds seem to like it although this year my best luck was with an Eddie Salter mouth call, that was about the only thing I could use to get the birds to move in.
