Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Here's the rest of the story. My wifes going to download the pictures later for me. Letting my son play hookie from school tomorrow. Hopefull we'll have some more pics in the morning.

It was one of those days when everything went quiet at about 6:45. It started to drizzle and a heavy fog set in and nothing gobbled again until about 10:45.

There's a big hollow and two different ridges running north/south.You can hear a long way, and this Tom was along way.

I heard him and knew he was in the strut zone I mentioned finding in another post that I started on "tight lipped gobblers." He gobbled a few times on his own and I cut the distance down on him.Yelped and he jumped on it. I had a buddy and his son with me(mine son slept in) . I set the boy up where I thought he was going to come in. I sat in some pretty thick stuff and started calling. The hen looped around out in a power line with the Tom behind her and cut in to the woods looking for me. I was going to let the Tom walk by so that the kid could shoot but he looked right at me and got a bit spooky. So I ripped him.

It's the first season for both of these guys I was with. After the bird was down the father just looks and me and say's
"that was unbelievable" His son just stood there shaking his head with eyes about as big as saucers. I love this sport.
