Today was the last day of the NY Youth Turkey hunt, i didnt get to pull the trigger all weekend. We kicked up a Tom on Saturday but it flew away before i could pull the hammer back and shoot.[:@]o well but anyway today is sunday and i heard my first gobble today. i am sooo happy it sounded so cooool. the coyote howling startled them and made them gobble. i still keep hearing that noise in my head!

A gobble is probably the neatest thing you can hear in the woods! I've been hooked ever since I heard my first.

I remember the first time I heard gobbling, the woods just seemed to expolde with the sounds of both Toms, and hens. That was the coolest thing and hooked me immediately[8D]

I know a couple other kids that are hooked too!!
