Hey David thanks for the info.

I thought there was more of a resone for shooting those 3" 1 3/4 oz loads then me being wimpy about shooting those 3 1/2" shells.
As we get older we get don't like the hurt or maybe it's just wisdom !

Good luck friday and Saterday hope the turkey gods smile on you.
Hopfuly we will all see a pic of your turkey.

Leon

I have 2 835s and I bought the first one the first year they came out. Absolutly the best (turkey) gun for the money in my opinion.
Its the only shotgun I've ever been completely satisfied with. There just isn't anything to gripe about. It patterns great and I killed a turkey at 55 yards with it, didn't even twitch.

You from the recoil; or the turkey from the impact? [8D][8D][8D]

I not knocking your 835; Mossberg MAKES GREAT GUNS! I have owned & own several.

Have you seen the new 3½" Mag Semi Auto; Mdl 935? I'm looking for one now as a gift for my son.

Just checked it out on Mossbergs page. On a review board a guy said it didn't chamber 2 3/4 shells when he shot............well on the site it said "developed for use with 3 & 3 1/2" That explains it to me- use 3 or 3 1/2" shells. Nice looking gun, the turkey model has a adjustable sights with fiber optic if you want.

This should help you out (Shopping Therapy):

http://www.mossberg.com/pcatalog/935.htm

Additionally check out SPORTCO® in Fife; I believe they have some.

I have contributed most geneously to their employee compensation fund! It's about the same distance for me in Lacey as it is for you in Seattle.
