Nice results Andy. How many pellets were in the brain/neck vertabre with that combo?

Yah, that's a great result for 40 yards. I'm only getting about 6 in the neck vertabre/brain at 40 so I am limited to 35 yards. Is that a factory Rem. choke? I think that's the same one I have. Just black with knurled end for hand installation and a slot on the end for tightening. Hmmmm. Have you tried the barrel-polish that is posted on these forums? I might give that a try and see if it helps.

Yep thats the choke I have. It is a Remington made choke. I haven't polished my barrel yet and don't see the need to fool with a good thing til after the season. I am shooting a 26" barrel. And those Win Supreme xx 2oz #6 are just tearin em up. I am about to scan a copy of my 40 yard target. I will post it when i get it to work right.

I'm shooting 3.5" heavy shot #5, and 2 gobblers at 40 steps were hammered, both had a chunk of their beard missing and feathers blow out 5 ft behind them. One looked like he had been shot w/ a rifle. I'm using the HS strut Undertaker choke. I think it's brutally lethal, and i'm not sure how much damage can be done to the gun shooting a handful of them during turkey season...
