Every gun is different (even the same brand by the same manufacturer) because they are not all idendtical as to the bore. Therefore, don't take this as gospell but my Nova does very well with a Tru Glo choke and Winchester #5 in a 3.5 inch shell. The 3 inch Wichesters did almost as well. I hope that helps.

Check out my post about Benneli Nova and the Undertaker choke tube pattern results. I have pictures from 15 yards out to forty yards. I used to have an Tru Glo choke but after using the HS Undertaker choke my pattern was twice as tight.
