benelli nova pump
#1
My buddy Rob purchased a Benelli Nova Pump 2 days ago, and has yet to shoot it. Does anyone own/shot one of these? I'd like to know how it performs and if you've had any problems with it.

Okay, I guess the SBE is one heck of an upgrade, since the SBE is an auto-loader, anda very nice one at that.
A Nova Pump doesn't cost as much as the SBE does, so I guess it takes extra cash to upgrade.

yea i have a camo nova pump. it has killed a little of everything for me, birds, deer and almost a turkey ([
]) lol. it is very reliable IMO and i havent really cleaned it that much either. only thing i noticed is that the pump action gets a little noisy when its not being held by ur hand, it sounds a little lose you know, but its no biggiee. good luck with it

Mechanically a great gun, I hear some make some noise but I guess it can be fixed. The down side is they are butt ugly and barrels are expensive. If you ever want a slug barrel for it you might as well just get a new slug gun, cost will be about the same and it will be easier to find from what I understand.
Best pump in my opinion would be a Browning BPS, but you won't get one for what a Nova costs.
