Lets say you are hunting in pine flatwoods with some intermixed oaks.
How far can you hear a turkeys gobble?

If you can hear them in big pine flats, then you can probably call them up...I hunt mountains most of the time, and go to flatlands to hunt for a week or so, and I'm always amazed at how the hearing distance drastically shrinks.......
