Default Trigger Problem

I noticed that the trigger on my Benelli Nova requires more effort to pull than it used to. Does anyone know if the trigger can be adjusted by a gunsmith to make the trigger pull easier or does it just need to be oiled? I really have to make an effort to fire the gun by pulling the trigger harder than I think I should. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Trigger Problem

Almost sounds to me that the lubricant has jelled up on ya.....I would carefully take the trigger out and clean it with a tooth brush and some solvent. Make sure ya dry it out pretty good and just a drop of oil were you can see wear marks. I believe that would cure your trigger pull problem. Pat
