Hey everyone. I'm proud to announce that my wife and I had a baby girl on Feb 27. Both are doing fine now, but I came very close to losing both of them. The baby had to spend 7 days in ICU and mom had a 4 day stay in the hospital. We are truely blessed to have both of them. Bamabuck27 posted her arrival for me and I want to say thank you to all that responded. I'm definitely glad to be back and everything back to normal. In a few years, I'll have another good huntin' buddy. Working on both my boys until then.

We named her Maggie Frances. I got real lucky to have her before turkey season. After all that happened, and almost losing her and my wife, I felt bad about giving my wife greif about having her before season started. I'm very thankful to God that he blessed us with her and me and my boys with their mother and He may even let me find time to still get a little hunting in during the season. It's funny how quick that little girl has managed to get her daddy wrapped around that little bitty finger so quickly though.lol I wouldn't have it any other way though. The wife has been calling me Mr. Mom.

Something we all need to keep in mined here is that these type of posts are against the rules of the forums, As Moderators Pat and I tend to let a few slip, because we don't want to disreguard your thoughts and excitement. The odd one is ok , but if too many start , we are the ones that have to exsplain as to why we are not done the right job for the forum. I realize that most are new to this forum , but over the years it has became a little freer on this forum, because of the Mod that has controled it. Please lets stick with the rules, if at all possible.... Moderator/BT

Glad you let this "slip through" and am surprised to hear there are rules (though I suppose I could do with looking for and reading them). It seems the regulars on here have become like "family", so it is nice to hear some personal messages from time to time, even if they don't relate to turkeys and turkey hunting.

(And in defense of GB, he was only 'splaining why there'd be another hunter in the woods in a few years., so his topic and post were important turkey hunting information.)

Way to go man. We're all happy for you & your family. The hunting population just grew!

Doemaster and snow, There is a rule on each and every board to stay on Topic, That has been inforced bad over the years. At one time you could not even joke on this form ,,,, Thanks to me when I took over, I started to get it freed up. Over the last coupe or few years , I have let things go, and didn't want to be as stiff as some Moderators. I aswell used to post a thread on the rules and not to go over board.

Instead , I just posted to this post, just to let everyone know. If it goes over board , I will start to Delete and lock Topic's. Now you all may think I'm being stiff here, but I'm not trying to be. But please don't push me. I have a job to do, and if you can not understand a public warning then I'll just bring it to an end.

If you think I've gone over board , maybe get some of the guys that have been around for years like Maytom,Jalvja, BoGobble, Bobgobble , TreeDog, Longbeard1 They can tell you how it use to be in this forum. I want to get along here, I just see there is a Time to make it known about rules, and YES I have broke them aswell, so were all guilty...BT
