Still flocked up in Ohio
got am e-mail from my partner who went down to SE Ohio to scout our spots. He said he saw quite a few turkeys today while driving around. He said he went to one of our honey hole fields and saw ATLEAST 15 birds(could have been more he said), and all were jakes and gobblers. Not a hen in site. He saw some other birds out in the fields when driving and either it was all hens or all jakes/gobblers, none mixed. He scouted another one of our spots today and he said the ground was bare from all the scratchings on thw ridges. Going back down here in a couple weeks to scout some more when this cold weather moves on. He wrote down which fields he saw turkeys in today and the ones we don't have permission to hunt we're going to ask next time down.
