Default Extra bead

Has anyone ever had any experience with putting an extra bead in the middle of your shotgun barrel. Would this extra bead help you with aiming at turkeys. Also how much money does it cost?

I had an extra bead put on an 1187. Took it to a gunsmith. He drilled and tapped it and installed the bead for $15. Also replaced the front bead with a white one.

ya a lot of the new turkey guns have the middle bead.mine does and it does help keep the barrel on the target.gives you two points to line up.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

I got one on my 1100,It's more help on a short barreled gun. When the 2 beads are lined up you know your cheek is into the stock where it should be.

I used the 2 bead system for years before getting a Tru Glo sight. It worked well to "force" me to level the barrel the way it's supposed to me. Aligning your shotgun barrel on the target like that is vital when turkey hunting.

Thanks guys. I will take it to a gunsmith and see what he will charge me. I'm sure it will help me keep that barrel level. I am new to turkey hunting and I need all the help I can get.
