Which call works the best?

The one that brings the turkey in! [:@]
I know it sounds trite, but that's the way it works. Personally, I generally try a box first. I've hunted birds that liked 1 box today, a different box tomorrow and the first box the next day. Sometimes I get nothing from my 'go to' box, then switch to a slate and... BINGO!! Same with mouth calls... You never know what a turkey wants to hear!! So, practice with all of them!

If there is one thing that turkeys have thought me over the years is that you have to be flexible in your approach to them. You find one call that worked for you on a hunt and you have a tendency to stick with it and that can be you downfall on the next hunt. I’ve learned you’ve got to be willing to try different calls and approaches to be successful. IMHO.
After saying all that I like to use a mouth call…
Hey, old habits are hard to break!
