I am currently shooting a mossberg 835 with the .695 factory choke and I would like to try an after market choke. I found two locally,an H.S. strut undertaker and a truglo gobblestopper xtreme but both of these chokes are also listed as a .695 consriction, so my question is would these chokes probably pattern basically the same seeing as how they all have the same .695 constriction.

I can't say for the truglo choke but i have heard that they are a good choke, but as for the hs undertaker i got one for my 835, and it was the most dissapointing choke that i tried, my factory ulti-full choke that i got with my gun shoots alot better and i tried 4,5, and 6 shot win hv's. i do alot of patterning with different choke and shot sizes combonations to see what shoots the best, and even though we boith have the same gun they will not shoot the same combo's the same way, so you have to try shot and choke combos too to see what your gun likes. alot of people have been telling me to try the rem hevi-shot they say it is absolutely amazing, not just for more bb's, but also better penetration, so i bought the new jellyhead choke for my 835 ulti-mag made by primos and i will try the hevi-shot, they say it is made for it shooting number 6 shot. good luck and god bless.
p.s. i see that you are from bimghamton ny, i booked a spring turkey hunt up your way for may can't wait.
