Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default The number #18 Typical wild turkey!

Two years ago I shot, according to the NWTF calculator, the number 18 overall Eastern Wild Turkey. I took him in Southern Indiana around the Bedford area. He was shot in the afternoon and he went 25lbs 3oz. 10.25 inch beard, 2 inch right spur, 1.875 inch left spur and scored a nice 84.43 points. I did not have an NWTF member measure the bird and the scale was not calculated by NWTF. Now that I see the records at the NWTF website I am sorry to not have put Indiana on the scoreboard. i will post pictures later of the full mount.

14 mercs, that is a bonafide PIG. Congrats on tagging a once-in-a-lifetime bird.~George
