gs, i have had this happen before, what i did was my uncle who i hunt with was along, he starting backing up and calling like the hen was going away, that fired him up and he came running right in. then he got a healthy dose of win hv #6 shot at 30 yards.

If you are by yourself shutup and wait. When hunting with a partner, one hunter sneaks back another 50 yards and calls like the hen is walking away. i have seen an all out sprint to catch the lady. Works best mid-morning when hens are scarce.
