I have been throwing the "hevi" shot thing around a lot. Winchester 1300 12 guage 3" chamber. What choke tubes can you shoot "hevi" shot in and which can't you use. I am looking at the Kicks gobblin thunder but not sure if I can shot "hevi" shot in them. Don

Kicks will tell you absolutly not , but depending on the constriction of the tube you buy, you should not have a problem. All of the tubes that I have seen for hevi-shot have come in a .675 constriction, so if the one you are getting one that is that size or larger you shouldn't have a problem. I have shot hevi through a 680 without any problem. Hope this helps.

I'm shooting Hevi-Shot through a .660 Rhino choke. I talked with the friendly folks at Rhino and they told me a .660 would pattern both lead and Hevi-Shot well in my Beretta autoloader, and my petterning sessions have proven this to be true.
If I'm not mistaken, our own resident New York gobbler slayer Maytom is shooting a .660 Rhino in his 1300. Paul, any comments?
