do they make scope mounts that you can use your open sights. i mounted
scope base on my win. 1400 and even i use see thru mounts they will be to high for open sights.any suggestions.

I am a little "bias" about this subject so take this with a grain of salt
. I really hate see thru mounts. I feel they cause more misses than any other type of sight. Any time you have to raise your head off the stock to see thru a scope, your asking for trouble. I think you should decide if you want to shoot a scope or open sights and go with it. You are either trying to see your open sights thru a hole or waving your head around trying to see the cross hair in the scope. Some people like a see thru set up but IMO they give up a lot more than they gain. As I said, I am bias, so go with what feels good to you but please concider the down side with the pluses
