I still need to do some more scouting, but right now I'm looking at the Big Survey, Clinch Mountain, and Fairystone Farms WMAs. I'm probably going to check out Gathright too.
Once I find the best spots, I'm getting out there as soon as the season opens in April. If we can work something out, I'd love to organize a hunt, SE or SW VA. Who knows, if any other Virginians are hitting that part of the state, we might just have ourselves a turkey hunting party. We'd probably have a better chance at making some good harvests if we can roost and surround a group of gobblers.

I mostly hunt in National Forest in Bland, Craig, and Giles Counties...so, we'll keep in touch and if you get a chance we'll hook up and hunt sometime. Keep scouting, that's pretty important for successful spring hunts.
