I just like getting to see different parts of the country. Maybe seeing how others do things. The birds don't seem much different. (they all drive me crazy) At home, there's a lot of pressure on the birds as the sport grows and hunting areas disappear.
I guess I just need the extra sleepless nights!

This Spring New Mexico and Mexico
99 more days, whoo hoo!

MO for the first time this year
Also going back to PA and possibly MD
Homestate of SC

Mainly to get more time in the woods.
Move north during the season and I can hunt from March 20th till the end of May

I always enjoy the challenge of a new state.

I put in for a Rio tag in Utah. I should know if I drew a tag in a couple of weeks.

Going to start my year out in late March trying for a Florida Osceola.Need one for a slam. From there it will be South Dakota. I've been going out there for the last 6 years now. Love to hunt those Merriams! That hunt will be in mid- April. Late April will hunt here in my home state of Minnesota if I get drawn for a tag. In May I'll try my luck in Wisconsin.
I like to hunt to much to just limit myself to 5 days like our turkey season is here.
