I've only ever hunted Eastern's.But like the majority here I think them Merriam's are the prettiest.

I have to say the Merriem. Just a lot of color in their feathers.

I've hunted both easterns and merriams,and I for one like to hunt those merriams. I like the run-n-gun style of hunting and in most cases you have a lot more land to roam around on out west. Hunting pressure is not nearly as heavy either as it can be with easterns.
