Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Most effective call?

I was a bass pro today and I wanted to try something new. I decided to wait to see what is a good call. I mainly like diaphrams and slate or glass calls. Are there any new ones or very effective old ones? I already have the lil deuce, the sweet hen, and the viper diaphram. They work pretty good, but i feel adventurous. I would like to try new calls and tricks this year. Thanks ahead.

If you're looking for something a little bit different that every hunter in the woods doesn't carry, buy yourself a good boat paddle box call. It will get an old tom's attention sometimes when nothing else will. I have the Cut-N-Paddle by American Friction. It is a great sounding call and well made too. I got mine from Midwest Turkey Call, here is the link http://www.midwestturkeycall.com/det...=AF1&cc=T&dn=1

I agree.
Add something a little different to your arsenal.
Screaming hen boat paddle.
If you are really adventuras, try a Morgan's tube call.
Not many can master it so they don't hear it often.
